Pregnancy and Other Support Links

The Nurturing Network has 42,000 volunteer members who provide practical, life-saving services to any woman facing the crisis of an unplanned pregnancy. The Network specializes in offering support to college and working women with its program of educational and employment resources uniquely designed to meet their needs. The Nurturing Network has provided a positive alternative to abortion to over 16,000 women for nearly two decades by offering each mother in crisis an individually tailored set of resources free of charge. These resources include counseling, medical, residential, financial, educational and employment support. The Network’s toll free lifeline, 1-800-TNN-4MOM, also serves over 2000 local crisis pregnancy centers and hundreds of faith-based communities nationwide.

Pregancy Centers Online can direct you to pregnancy centers, help after abortion, or just to talk to someone.

Project Rachel is the post-abortion healing ministry of the Catholic Church.

LifeCall is a link to some people who genuinely care what happens to you. Several Sources Foundation provide Pro-Life Shelters for mothers and their babies.

Priests For Life is the site where the truth about all aspects of the abortion issue can be found. The Catholic Church is my church, and has been unjustly characterized in the media as anti-woman because of the Church's pro-life doctrine. If you want to know the truth, go to the source, the Church itself.

After Abortion  If you have had an abortion, and you feel sorrow, despair, regret, emptiness, doubt, or pain, there are people who care, and there are people who understand. This is a link to these people. Remember this: God loves without condition.

StandUpGirl is a wonderful site by a person with real perspective.

I dedicate LifePrayers.com to my father, who was for life, long before abortion was a national issue. I remember him driving our Volare station wagon with a bumper sticker "Adoption not Abortion". He died young, in his fifties, but his appreciation for the gift of life today lives on with his now adult children.
